You can enter your company, one of your employees or yourself for an award in each of the relevant categories.*

You can also nominate another company(s) or individual(s) in each of the relevant categories.

*Written entries must be no more than 1,000 words. Supporting information (images, videos etc) should be uploaded via the online entry form.

The decision-making Stage

The recipients of a prestigious Vendies award will be determined by a two-part process.

Initially, each entry will be reviewed by an independent panel of industry experts – comprised of leading names from across the sector. This judging panel will assess the entries in accordance with a strict set of criteria to determine a shortlist in each category.

These shortlists will then be put to an online vote, where professionals from the vending sector will be invited to make their voices heard by casting a vote for the products, operators and individuals that they believe in.

The only exception is the Lifetime Achievement Award, which is exempt from the voting process. Instead, an expert panel will be appointed to consider each nominee and their credentials to determine the winner of this coveted accolade.

The awards ceremony

The winners, as determined by the two-step decision-making process, will be revealed at an unmissable ceremony taking place at Cafe de Paris, London on Wednesday 3 June 2020.

As well as high profile awards presentations, The Vendies is a key date on the industry calendar for those looking to expand their reputation in the sector. With representatives from major companies all in attendance, the ceremony is a unique chance to catch up with colleagues and peers, build on existing business relationships and network with a room full of potential clients.

Additionally, guests will be treated to an exclusive drinks reception, a delicious meal with wine and entertainment throughout the evening from the ceremony’s host (TBA) – making it the perfect way to reward your hardworking employees for all of their outstanding contributions over the past year.

How much does it cost to enter?

Entries are free of charge!

How many categories can I enter/nominate in?

You can enter as many categories as you like providing they meet the criteria. Please note that the entry form allows you to enter and nominated in multiple categories with one submission.

What is the entry deadline?

The entry deadline is 2 March 2020. You can check all of the upcoming deadlines here.

I can't find a suitable category for me, can I get some help?

We are here to help you with every step of the process. If you have any questions, contact us and will respond to you as soon as possible.

When will I know if I have made it onto the shortlist?

The shortlist will be announced when voting opens on 2 April 2020. We will also personally notify shortlisted operators and suppliers.

How does voting work?
  • Only members of the industry may take part – consumer nominations and votes will not be counted.
  • Only one vote is allowed per category, per person.
    Multiple votes from one person (or excessive votes (10+) from one company) will be discounted
  • All voting categories should be completed where possible
  • Participants are not permitted to complete voting forms on behalf of a client
  • Participants are not permitted to offer incentives to encourage votes
  • All contact details must be completed to validate your vote
  • The organiser reserves the right to exclude any organisation without prior notice or explanation
