Cadbury, the UK’s No 1 Hot Chocolate brand* is launched a delicious new improved recipe for its popular Cadbury vending and dispense blend. The new product is available now to operators  in 1 kg dispense bag.

For nearly 200 years, since John Cadbury opened a grocer’s shop in Birmingham in 1824, Cadbury has been making Hot Chocolate and today Cadbury is the Nation’s favourite hot chocolate brand   continuing to grow its share of the Hot Chocolate market in 2020 *. 

The hot chocolate category is growing ahead of Tea and coffee^ and is in growth in foodservice (1) being the third most popular choice of drink in Coffee shops and Cafes (1). Latest Category insight shows that 73% of consumers prefer to buy branded hot chocolate**   while consumers are prepared to pay more for branded offers (2). We have also seen a general gravitation to brands in the last 6 months across many categories in these uncertain times.

Vending represents a quarter of all Hot chocolate food service sales and Mondelez, owners of the Cadbury brand, is the no 1 supplier of Hot Chocolate  in foodservice (3).

 The new Cadbury blend for vending has been thoroughly test with a sensory panel and blend has just the right level of sweetness with classic chocolatey notes.

In addition, the new blend from Cadbury is only 77 calories per serve and contains cocoa sourced through Cocoa Life, in partnership with Fairtrade foundation, a Mondelez programme which works to improve the life of farmers and their families in cocoa farming communities.
